2002-2003
In 2003 our trip started at Birch Creek Station on the low ropes course where we learned how to trust each other and work together. Afterwards we left to set up camp and eat supper before returning for the astronomy class. After we measured the universe, we went back to camp. The next day we went to Bannack State Park. We got a tour of the buildings and learned how to pan for gold and raced in a scavenger hunt. Our plans to go to Crystal Park were cancelled due to the 4' snow storm the week before so we just hung around camp with some of the students going fishing. We then went to Elkhorn Hot Springs for swimming, camel fights, swimming races and showers. In the morning, we departed for the Big Hole Battlefield. We toured the museum, had a picnic and took a walking tour of the battlefield.
